If your computer is showing pop‑ups, fake alerts, browser redirects, or running unusually slow, you may have a virus or malware infection. Primary Computer Service provides fast, thorough virus removal backed by 42 years of professional experience serving Houston.
We don’t just run a scan — we find the root cause, clean the infection, repair the damage, and secure your system.
Signs Your Computer May Be Infected
- Constant pop‑ups or fake warnings
- Browser redirecting to strange websites
- New icons or programs you didn’t install
- Slow performance or freezing
- Antivirus disabled or won’t update
- Fake “Your computer is infected!” alerts
- Locked files or ransom messages
Our Virus Removal Process
1. Deep Malware Scan
We use multiple professional‑grade tools to detect:
- Viruses
- Spyware
- Ransomware
- Keyloggers
- Rootkits
- Adware
- Hidden background processes
Different threats require different tools — we use layered scanning to catch everything.
2. Manual Cleanup
Automated scans miss things. We go further:
- Startup entries
- Scheduled tasks
- Browser extensions
- Hidden folders
- Rogue services
- Registry infections
This is where most shops stop — but it’s where we do our best work.
3. Browser & Homepage Repair
We remove:
- Fake search engines
- Hijacked homepages
- Malicious extensions
- Redirect scripts
Then we restore your preferred browser settings.
4. Windows Repair & Optimization
Infections often damage Windows. We fix:
- Broken system files
- Corrupted updates
- Disabled security features
- Slow startup
- Crashes and freezes
Your computer will run better than before the infection.
Ransomware & Severe Infections
If your files are locked or you see payment demands:
- Shut down the computer immediately
- Do not pay the ransom
- Bring the system in for evaluation
We can often recover data depending on the damage.
