The computer screen said that AVG, an anti virus program, could not continue. Neither the mouse or the keyboard would respond, not even the three finger salute (ctrl-alt-delete). Primary Computer quickly determined this to be a defective hard drive. Fortunately the failure was that the hard drive had problems writing but not reading. Using a disk imaging program, we were able to copy all the files to a new drive. Now the computer was in like new condition with all the files and screen icons in the same place so that there was no interruption in service or a learning curve. We can also retrieve data that has been deleted and even from a formatted drive. | ||||
